I would like more daylight. Sometimes there is just simply not enough time in the day to get to all the things I would like to see accomplished. This doesn’t stress me out (most of the time) it just makes me appreciate what I did manage to experience and keen to start the next day.
I’m not sure I can say why this scene captured me so much. I had been thinking all day about shoes for beings other than people and kept thinking of motorcyles. I love big fat motorcylce tires. Then, I came across this on my way home from helping my son ride his bike around the baseball stadium. I guess it just felt incredibly odd to be dolling out new auto tires in front of a residential or commercial building in downtown San Diego. It took some time to get a frame of the person throwing the tire in mid-movement but I got it. I would have liked to move in on the scene but that pesky traffic and the risk of being hit kept me on the other side of the street. Still, I was happy to capture the moment.
