Quickly, in Anticipation
I started reading a small text by Jacques Derrida, published in 2014 titled Cinders. It's part of the amazing "Posthumanities series edited by Cary Wolfe and published by the University Of Minnesota Press. I didn't want to tackle anything too large because I am eagerly awaiting my copy of Leonard Lawlor's From Violence to Speaking Out: Apocalypse and Expression in Foucault, Derrida and Deleuze published by the Edinburgh University Press. The internet tells me Lawlor's book should be shipping soon and I may have it by next Friday.
I have been looking forward to reading both of these books for some time. The latter I suspect will have some very important and helpful ideas for my dissertation. There's really just not enough time to read all the books I would like to.
