Education as a way of life.
PhD—In Progress
I am currently working on my doctoral dissertation, a consideration of literature written during the so-called animal turn. I am fortunate to work with Robert McRuer and David Mitchel.

MFA—2003
I completed my Master of Fine Arts degree and thesis of original poetry in 2003. I worked with Stanley Plumly, Elizabeth Arnold, and Michael Collier.

BA—2001
I earned my baccalaureate degree at Western Washington University, studying poetry under the guidance of Bruce Beasley and Suzanne Paola.
